Dr. Katherine Calvert Grosso is a Board Certified Periodontist with training in the complete spectrum of periodontics and implant surgery. She is proactive in the treatment of disease while offering a conservative and gentle approach to treatment.

Dr. Grosso graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then continued her education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

After completing dental school, Dr. Grosso attended one of the top specialty programs in the country at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the VA Medical Hospital of Birmingham to complete a 3-year postgraduate residency program in Periodontics. Her main focus is providing individualized and comprehensive treatment to every single patient. Dr. Grosso is trained in extensive treatment planning, periodontal plastic surgeries, dental implant surgeries, and full-mouth rehabilitation. She is very interested in continuing education to always keep on the cutting edge of periodontal research and treatment.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two sons.
